Direct To Garment Printing

At Spirited Designs, we have been printing t-shirts and fabrics digitally since we opened our business.  That experience means your garment will have the look and feel of a high quality printed tee.

DTG printing, a design is printed directly to the garment with inkjet technology.  It’s sort of like printing on paper, except on fabric.  DTG printers use specialty water-based inks and a special pretreat process that “primes” the fabric to receive the ink, ensuring a long-lasting, quality print.

For this method, a garment comprised of at least 80% – 60% ring-spun cotton provides the best print results.  Typically t-shirts, crewnecks, and hoodies are ideal garment choices.  Designs can be finely detailed and multi-colored.  It also works well for single color vintage style prints.

One of the most desired looks for custom apparel is embroidery.  At Spirited Designs, we take great care to make sure your logo and image are digitized perfectly to ensure the best-stitched outcome possible.  We have trained and worked a great deal with our machine, threads, stabilizers, and garments to perfect our art.

Machine embroidery is a process whereby an embroidery machine uses thread to create patterns on textiles.  It is used commercially in product branding, corporate advertising, and uniform adornment.  It is also used in the fashion industry to decorate garments and apparel.

Embroidery is the most versatile of decoration techniques.  It can be used to decorate a wide variety of garment styles and materials.  Embroidery offers a classic, high-end appearance with hundreds of rich colors to choose from.

Cad-Cut Heat Transfer Vinyl

Heat Transfer Vinyl, also called HTV is a type of material that can be cut with a vinyl cutter to make designs, letters, or numbers in an array of styles.  It is available in many colors, textures, and even prints.

HTV allows for the customization of a variety of items, including sports jerseys, T-shirts, performance apparel, activewear, jackets, and more.

At Spirited Designs, we exclusively use material from the Stahls CAD-CUT line of products, paying a bit more for our materials provides our customers with quality designs that will last the life of the garment and always feel great!

Screen Print Transfers

A screenprint transfer, also known as a plastisol ink transfer, is an image that has been screen printed onto release paper.  Instead of being directly printed onto a shirt or other item, the design is printed onto transfer paper, then applied to the end product with a commercial heat press.  This method is used by many major manufacturers.  The print is extremely durable, lasting the life of the garment.

Lower production costs, make screenprint transfers an affordable choice for larger run orders, over 65 pieces.   Screen Print is perfect for a wide variety of garment types and materials.

A dye-sublimation printer uses heat to transfer dye onto specially treated materials such as plastic, metal, wood, paper, or fabric.

Sublimation to garments requires a fabric that is white or very lightly colored and near 100% polyester.  Some t-shirts and many performance shirts work well with this method.

Fully sublimated uniforms are a leading trend for sports teams.  The resulting garments are vibrant, long-lasting and highly customizable.

There are also many specialty hard goods that can be sublimated creating beautiful gifts and promotional items.
